From the plateau above The Devil's Kitchen you can see both Lakes. Llyn Idwal is in the foreground. The distant lake (Ogwen) runs along the valley where the A5 road leads alongside from Betts-y-Coed to Bangor by the Menai straits. The paths, which you can see going round Llyn Idwal, are part of the only mountain nature trail in the country but the height above sea level doesn't get much above 500 m.
