Allium neopolitanum   Neopolitan Garlic C DD I

Allium neopolitanum

This Mediterranean introduction is scattered around the Britihs Isles but there was a healthy group of plants enjoying the spring sunshine when we visited Guernsey. In the warmth, the distinctive smell of garlic reminded me of walking through valleys where Allium ursinum (Ramsons) grows by the streams.
