Blysmus rufus Saltmarsh Flat-sedge C DD N
At ground level this is quite a distinctive sedge with only a few spikelets compared with Rufus compressus (Flat-sedge) and leaves with inrolled margins.
This is a northern species with very little to be found south of Cheshire. It is found in quantity on the north west coast of Scotland and the northern coasts of Ireland.
