While pure Buddleja davidii can be purple or sometimes white and Buddleja globosa is orange yellow in ball shaped flowers, the hybrid between the two is usually shaped something like B. davidii but a dull yellow. There was a fair amount of this hybrid growing as it likes to do out of a wall.
