Sea rocket is a variable plant of beaches particularly stony or shingle beaches. It can suddenly appear in large numbers where the sand/soil has been disturbed and the specimens here at Spurn point were on small spoil heaps by the single road which goes along Spurn Point into the estuary of the River Humber.
