This striking Spider orchid is well named Fringed Mantis but as it can have a much greener hue than these, is also known as Green Spider Orchid. It was until recently classified as C. dilatata var falcata but has been changed to a full species. It has been recorded from sites throughout the wheatbelt where this one was photographed.
