Campanula portenschlagiana Adria Bellflower C DD I
This introduction from the Balkan region is the commonest garden escape of two campanulas often found on walls. The other one Campanula poscharskyana (Trailing Bellflower) has larger star shaped, largely flat flowers where these are distinctly bell-shaped.
This plant is found predominantly in Southern England particularly in the South West. In Wales it prefers coastal regions and there isn't much in either Ireland, Scotland or Northern England.
