Cerastium scaposum   No Common Name Endemic

Cerastium scaposum Cerastium scaposum

This annual alpine mouse ear was quite commonly found amongst the rocks and debris on the way up to and on the Omalos plateau. It is an endemic of Crete but also most often found here in the White mountains. A new sub species with smaller fowers is now known so this one is probably ssp scaposum
