Chrysanthemum coronarium   Crown Daisy

Chrysanthemum coronarium Chrysanthemum coronarium var bicolor

Re-directed due to name change from Chrysanthemum coronarium to Glebionis coronaria.

This is a very common Mediterranean plant of the wayside but here in Gozo there were hillsides covered in it. The smaller picture is of the less usual var bicolor.

In Europe this plant is now more often known as known as Glebionis coronaria, in the United States Leucanthemum coronarium but Sell and Murell have named it Xanthophthalmum coronarium in their recent Flora.

Take your pick.
