This is an uncommon member of the Orchid family and is as its name suggests, found in wet places. At Newborough Warren it is found in the huge dune slacks in hundreds and thousands - almost drifts. In late June and July you can see this plant simply by following the marked path to the sea. There are a few near the beginning and many more as you get nearer to the sea. There are other orchids and helleborines to be seen here too.
