This Cottongrass differs in only a few respects from E. angustifolium (Common Cottongrass). Angustifolium means narrow leaved and latifolium means broad leaved but the difference is more that in this plant the slightly wider leaves are flat where in E angustifolium they are both narrower and V shaped.
