Fedia cornucopiae   Fedia or Horn-of-plenty

We hadn't seen any plant like this on our various walks around the island but suddenly on this limestone plateau there was a great deal to be seen. It is a member of the Valerian family and is very distinctive in having two equal stems at about 45 degrees in a V shape both bearing a head of pink flowers.
