This European introduction has taken a firm hold in Central and southern England, but is scarce in Scotland and uncommon in Ireland. It is often seen as a fairly large plant as much as 1 m tall, very bushy and covered in white flowers. It will grow on verges and waste places and isn't fussy about soil condition.
