Petrophile ericifolia Endemic

Petrophile ericifolia group Petrophile ericifolia

We saw this plant on more than one site and I assumed that it's name derived from the leaves which remind one of heather. These evergreen "Conebushes" are endemic to south west Australia and produce greyish round or conical fruits. They can be found in stony or rocky places as their name suggests but elsewhere as well.
