This is a casual in the UK but is naturalised on shingle in West Sussex according to Stace. In Cyprus where this was taken it was the commonest clover on the lush green banks of a river near Arapkoy. The picture is not of the ordinary yellowish or pinkish flowers but of the spectacular fruiting calyces.
