Acacia restiacea   No English name Endemic

Acacia restiacea whole Acacia restiacea flower

This magnificent specimen was a little bit past its best but still covered in these deep yellow blooms growing straight out of the long stems of the bush. In many wattles found in this area of the wheat belt there are usually modified leaf stalks (phyllodes) which look and function like leaves but in A. restiacea there are no leaves or phyllodes.
