Boronia spathulata Boronia Endemic
Many of the leaf-like structures on this particular plant were modified into thin cylinders like spikes without a point but I was searching for spathulate leaves assuming that was the reason for the name. There are leaves further down the shrub but only a few were truly spathulate. However it seems to fit the many photos of Boronia spathulata I found.
Boronia spathulata is fairly common in the south west corner of Western Australia from Perth southwards, all along the southern coastal plain to beyond Cape Arid and inland as well.
