Cheiranthera simplicifolia Endemic
This was a common plant providing a delightful splash of blue above the pastel shades of the "everlastings" in their millions. Although the LHS photo show a single shrub it can be a climber, twining in the branches of nearby tall shrubs and trees. The flowers of the Cheiranthera genus are called "Finger Flowers" presumably because the five closely grouped anthers look like little yellow fingers.
Florabase Records of Cheiranthera simplicifolia are concentrated around Geraldton with some to the south and east beyond Mullewa. plus north nearly to Shark Bay.
