Eutaxia myrtifolia    Egg and Bacon Plant Endemic

Eutaxia myrtifolia whole Eutaxia myrtifolia close

Eutaxia species are remarkably similar and to distinguish them you need to have clear photos of the leaves. These photos aren't clear enough. The leaves appear to be opposite which is characteristic of Eutaxia but the "distinct petiole" of Eutaxia parviflora is so small that it could be present on this specimen. So this plant could be either Eutaxia myrtifolia or just possibly Eutaxia parvifolia as both have been recorded from this area.

Eutaxia myrtifolia is found near the coast or a little bit inland from Bunbury to Esperance
