Drosera glanduligera Pimpernel Sundew Endemic
I first saw this in 2007 but failed to take a decent photo of such a small plant. In 2015 I used the focus stacking capability of my Olympus camera which eventually worked quite well. You need a sunny still day for this work. It would take a whole day to photograph the usual number of plants I manage to record if I used this focus stacking every time so I only use it in still conditions and for special subjects where detail matters. The colour of the flower is exactly the same as that of the Scarlet Pimpernel (Lysimachia arvensis) hence the name. It is quite common in the south western corner of Australia.
It has been recorded from near Shark Bay, all the way south to Margaret River, inland to the Wheat Belt and along the south coast and inland as far as Albany.
