Grevillea nudiflora Medusa Grevillea Endemic
At first I didn't notice these small flowers growing prostrate on the ground then my daughter asked me what they were and I was stumped. Eventually I realised they had a Grevillea look about them and discovered that this plant, Grevillea nudiflora, has a variable habit but can spread with stems at ground level from which the flowers emerge. I think some of the green linear structures may be leaves but it was impossible to work out where they came from in the tangle of dead and alive debris on the ground.
Grevillea nudiflora is found along the southern coastal plain from Near Albany to beyond Esperance.
