Nigella damascena Love-in-a-Mist
At one time this was a very popular garden annual with pink and blue varieties in the British Isles so many people seeing this in a wild place in European would recognise its distinctively shaped flowers. It is less commonly found in the UK gardens now but can seed itself very well. N. damascena is found throughout the Mediterranean.
