Possibly endemic to south western Australia, this member of the Ericaceae was found in the shade of roadside verge scrub In the Stirling Range National Park. It is about 15 cm to 1m tall and prefers sandy habitats. Sphenotoma dracophylloides is a southern plant found near and in the Stirling Range, around Albany and in Fitzgerald National Park.
