Scholtzia uberiflora Endemic

Growing quite close to the edge of one of the the main route through Kalbarri National Park, this shrub was covered in flowers and not at all straggly as some describe it. The Scholtzia genus is named after Dr Heinrich Scholtz who studied ferns in the 1800s.

Scholtzia uberiflora occurs is endemic to south western Australia and occurs only in a very small area around Kalbarri but is quite plentiful and not threatened.
